At SoCode, we are working with our client to source a Software Engineer required to complete a very important project phase as their product nears completion.

If you are an Embedded C Software Engineer Contractor who is excited by the idea of working on an ethical medical device that aims to save hundreds of thousands of lives, this could be for you.

The successful candidate will have experience writing code within the confines of a highly process driven industry, for safety critical application. If you have medical software engineering experience too, that is great, but not necessary at all.

This will be Embedded C, both on RTOS and Linux, and whilst primarily driver work, will also give you the opportunity to do some UI work on QT.

We can accomodate 3 or 6 month contracts, although it is likely that there will be additional work, and a strong possibility of extensions too.

Requirements:

• Embedded C Software Engineer
• Process driven, regulated environment (preferably with safety critical)
• Low level device drivers
• ARM Core Devices
