The Opportunity:
We’re looking for a Customer Quality Engineer to join their growing team in Peterborough. In this critical role, you’ll act as the technical interface between them and their customers, ensuring post-sale quality standards are consistently met and exceeded. You’ll lead investigations, manage feedback loops, and drive continuous improvement across quality engineering activities.

What You’ll Do:
  • Serve as the main quality point of contact for key customers, managing expectations and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action for customer issues (8D, 5 Whys, etc.).
  • Monitor product performance and drive improvement in post-sale quality metrics.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (production, R&D, commercial) to ensure product quality aligns with customer requirements.
  • Manage customer audits and lead quality-related communications.
  • Contribute to the development of quality systems and documentation (PPAP, control plans, FMEA, etc.).
What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience in a quality engineering or customer quality role, ideally within manufacturing or advanced materials.
  • Strong knowledge of quality tools and standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949 is a bonus).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • A hands-on, detail-driven approach to quality and continuous improvement.
  • Comfortable engaging directly with customers and representing the voice of the business.
