This is a long-term contract opportunity, to work with a global brand in consumer electronics, based out of their R&D facility in Cambridge.

 

You will be working closely with operations to develop and implement an effective strategy to source and validate second source electronic components and implement opportunities to value-engineer existing PCB assemblies for high volume products. You will also support product lifecycle management and manufacturing.

 

Technical Requirements:

You’ll be an experienced electronics engineer with experience in embedded systems for high volume electronics

You’ll have experience of cost, reliability, product compliance and manufacturing / assembly / testing techniques

Have experience with the fundamentals of electronics engineering, analogue, SMP, EMC & PCB

Experience working with external manufacturers

Altium and LabVIEW skills
