The Role

Joining one of the core Engineering teams at this consultancy, you will be working mostly with defence and security clients in and around the UK. Based from their office in Cambridge and joining a group of around 40 consultants the team focuses on defence communications systems, medical devices, robotics, IoT and more.

Working closely with the software, mechanical and data engineering teams you will help create prototypes & products for clients whilst also engaging with research institutions to accelerate the drive to create state-of-the-art solutions.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    

In terms of skills and experience, what do I need to get the job?

• A strong understanding of communication systems is critical to be successful in this role.
• Experience having designed communication systems, preferably within defence markets.
• Air and baseband protocol knowledge.
• Previous experience having consulted clients on projects.
• The ability and want to travel to visit clients within the UK.
