Are you ready to contribute to the next wave of innovation in radio communications? Join the dynamic Research and Development team in Cambridge, where you'll play a pivotal role as an Senior Software Engineer. Reporting to the Software Manager, you'll have the opportunity to design, develop, and test software using various programming languages and platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, code, and test control of Wi-Fi and Cellular based two-way radios.
  • Ensure the efficiency, security, stability, and scalability of system resources.
  • Integrate and validate new product designs, expanding functionality on existing products.
  • Provide post-production support to field engineers, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Liaise with departments such as Manufacturing, Product Support, and Technical Developers.

What They’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 5 years of Android Development.
  • Proficieny on C/C++
  • Experience of Embedded Linux 
  • Experience with Wi-Fi integration and customisation.
  • Understand of SIP protocol client server
  • Industry experience and familiarity with the radio industry (desirable).

Your Profile:

  • Proven track record of delivering embedded system designs to market.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously or collaboratively in a small team.
  • A flexible approach to meet the dynamic needs of our business.
