SoCode are working in partnership with a Cambridge blue-chip technology company, that work on bespoke software applications for companies of all sizes across the globe. Due to a tremendous energising change in the business, they are looking to expand their software project delivery function.

You will work alongside a team of exceptional software engineer to deliver best-in-class bespoke applications for a variety of clients, from global leaders to high-growth companies going through periods of scaling up. Being able to converse with technical and non-technical stakeholders of all levels is an absolute must, very strong communication skills are essential.

Servant-leadership is very much the way the team and company operate. Collaboration and mentorship/coaching in agile principles is a large part of this job as well as working on customer/value first delivery. Experience of working in a cloud-based environment would be a bonus but is by no needs a necessity.

The team has a strong preference for this project manager to have a degree (or better) in numerical field (e.g. CompSci) or have done some software engineering earlier on in their career. This would also be a great chance for someone doing a bit of project management on the side of their handson development to take a step into a technical project management role.

Must understand, and preferably have experience of, the full development lifecycle and related working methodologies.
