SoCode are delighted to be working with a leading and well-funded startup at the cutting edge of their field. Off the back of a successful seed around this company, founded by SMT with a strong track-record building business from the ground up, are looking to grow the team substantially this year.

The team are trying to fundamentally change (rebuild) the financial system from the ground up, replacing the status quo with a platform underpinned by blockchain technology.

The business is currently around 20 people, and full of brilliant minds. They are looking for an agile delivery lead to help, simply put, get the best out of the team. We are looking for a leader in their field excited by the prospect of making other people better.

A bit about you:

We are after a true servant leader, someone who loves getting the best out of people and has a track record of doing so.  You will work with the team to bring in agile values, principles, and practices. In order to be effective, you will need to be comfortable blending theory with practice and educating the team (where necessary). Fundamentally, anything that can optimise ways of working will be greatly appreciated.

Although the engineering team will be your main area of focus, if ideas can be spread business wide (to non-technical functions) then the business is keen to hear them.

Likely you will have (5-10 years) experience leading teams through agile adoption and optimisation, and love pushing the boundaries of agile. The team is working on cutting edge tech, and they want the way they work to be just as cutting edge!

Knowledge of multiple frameworks and a history of coaching remote teams of varying agile maturity levels would be very welcome.

Due to the velocity of the company, some experience working at start-ups/scaleups would be beneficial. Even better if you’ve previously brought order to relative chaos.

Some interest or experience in blockchain would be lovely – passion goes a long way - but is not essential.
