Account Manager – Electronics Manufacturing
Ipswich | Permanent | £35,000 - £40,000

One of our clients is a well established UK electronics manufacturing business, looking to appoint an Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts.

This is a commercially focused, client-facing role sitting between customers, engineering, and operations, with responsibility for ensuring orders are delivered on time, to specification, and to margin. 

The role:
  • Manage and develop existing customer relationships (no cold sales!)
  • Act as the main commercial point of contact for assigned accounts
  • Handle client enquiries, quotations, and proposals
  • Coordinate internally to ensure delivery, quality, and cost targets are met
  • Support margin optimisation and account growth opportunities
  • Attend and contribute to client review meetings
About you:
  • Ideal candidates will have experience as an Account Manager within electronics manufacturing / EMS / CEM
  • Confident communicator with customers at all levels
  • Commercially aware with strong organisational skills
  • Comfortable working with technical teams and manufacturing environments
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Willing to travel occasionally within the UK 
  • Qualification in HNC or higher in a relevant engineering discipline is preferred.
