Account Manager – Electronics Manufacturing

One of our clients is a well established UK electronics manufacturing business, looking to appoint an Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts.
This is a commercially focused, client-facing role sitting between customers, engineering, and operations, with responsibility for ensuring orders are delivered on time, to specification, and to margin.

One of our clients is a well established UK electronics manufacturing business, looking to appoint an Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts.
This is a commercially focused, client-facing role sitting between customers, engineering, and operations, with responsibility for ensuring orders are delivered on time, to specification, and to margin.
The role:
- Manage and develop existing customer relationships (no cold sales!)
- Act as the main commercial point of contact for assigned accounts
- Handle client enquiries, quotations, and proposals
- Coordinate internally to ensure delivery, quality, and cost targets are met
- Support margin optimisation and account growth opportunities
- Attend and contribute to client review meetings
- Ideal candidates will have experience as an Account Manager within electronics manufacturing / EMS / CEM
- Confident communicator with customers at all levels
- Commercially aware with strong organisational skills
- Comfortable working with technical teams and manufacturing environments
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Willing to travel occasionally within the UK
- Qualification in HNC or higher in a relevant engineering discipline is preferred.
- Salary £35,000 - £40,000
