We are proud to be representing Cancer Research UK (CRUK) at the 5k / 10k Race For Life from Jesus Green in Cambridge.
We have an energic team of 11 “athletes” taking part this year, who will be doing some serious training over the next few weeks to ensure they are able to cross the finish line before the sun goes down!
We asked a few of them what inspires them to take part: 🏃♂️
“I try to participate every year, the atmosphere is alive with energy - it's always a fantastic event!"
"I've always just thought of the gym when it came to improving my fitness so wanted to participate in the 10k to push myself and see if I could go the distance - the fact that the money raised is going to such an incredible cause just makes it all worthwhile!"
"I lost my grand-dad to cancer this year so anything I can do to help a good cause; I'll do it."
