Miranda Walfield

​Miranda Walfield is the Finance Manager at SoCode, who joined the company is February 2022.

"I have been working within the finance sector for the last 8 years, before starting my journey in finance I was a hair dresser. Why the change? I realised I wanted to challenge myself, that's when I started to study AAT.

I feel so grateful to be apart of the team. Even though the team are busy, they will still take time to help me out where they can. SoCode are giving me the opportunity and support to be able to continue with my studies, completing this is a personal goal of mine."

What did you want to be when you grew up?

"When I was a kid I didn't envision that I was going to be working in finance. I always wanted to be a fighter jet pilot."

Where would we find you outside of work?

"I spend most of my time taking my dog into the forest, the beach or exploring new places with her. If I'm not exploring with her, you can find me in the kitchen, baking. My dream is to one day compete on the Great British Off!"
