We welcomed Joshua to SoCode in August 2025.

"I recruit in the Digital Transformation space, specifically with EPM in the UK & EMEA. I like this market as it is always changing and innovating; this means no two conversations are the same and allows for continuous learning. I started in recruitment just over 2 years ago, and quickly got into the world of EPM. After leaving my previous employment I wanted to find a place that would give me more autonomy over my desk/market, which SoCode is able to provide. I was born and raised in Kings Lynn, I wanted to get into recruitment to get out of the “small town environment".

I have only been here a short time, but the environment seems highly collaborative which I hadn’t had previously; this drew me to the business."

What advice would you give someone looking to get into recruitment?

"Recruitment is a hard industry and there are a lot of no’s and rejections, so you need to be mentally tough to keep pushing through, whether that is with candidates, clients or a deal."

Where would we find you outside of work?

"Outside of work I am quite a sporty person, I play a lot of sport and go to the gym, and have recently gotten into motor cross (which I am not very good at)!"

"I play a little known sport called Roller hockey and have represented England in Euros and world championships."
