Jonathan Hindley

​I started with SoCode in March 2024 as Recruitment Consultant focusing on Engineering Managers. It’s an exciting industry to be part of as the industry in Cambridge is forever growing, and we look to focus specifically on the Cambridge market. Fantastic new companies are continuously opening in Cambridge, and I look forward to working with them as the industry grows.

What led you to SoCode?

I looked to work specifically for SoCode as the leading technology agency. I grew up lucky enough to have lived in Cambridge my whole life, still with a good network of family and friends around me. Previously I worked within the hospitality recruitment sector, and decided to move into the dynamic sector of Engineering recruitment. Before that I have gained a degree in film, with a passion for cinema, and alongside that worked in various roles in hospitality sector in Cambridge. I’d like to eventually buy a house in the area and have some of my own space. I have ambitions plans to eventually cycle long distances in Europe, plus run another marathon. I think the key to being a good recruitment consultant is being able to build good relationships through honesty and working hard alongside candidates and clients.

 Where will we find you outside of work?

Outside work I like you can find me running, cycling or frequent visits to London to visit pubs and restaurants.
