RF Product Engineer

Job description

Product Engineer (RF & Mixed-Signal)
Cambridge | Mostly onsite
£65k - £80k

Are you a hands-on engineer who loves taking products from concept to customer-ready solutions?
Do cutting-edge RF and wireless technologies excite you?

We’re working with a Cambridge-based engineering business developing advanced RF modules and IC products. You’ll own the full product lifecycle, from defining requirements, to guiding design, validating performance, and supporting production. This is ideal for someone who enjoys bridging disciplines, solving practical RF challenges, and seeing complex technology delivered to customers.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Translate product requirements into system-level architecture and engineering specifications.
  • Lead validation and testing, including lab and corner-case verification.
  • Collaborate with software, test, and manufacturing teams for smooth integration.
  • Contribute to datasheets, reference designs, and performance reporting.
  • Support new product introduction and design-for-test/manufacturability.
What we’re looking for:
  • Experience in RF systems, modules, or mixed-signal/analog IC products.
  • Hands-on knowledge of RF measurement, validation, and performance trade-offs.
  • Strong systems-level thinking and practical problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working across teams in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have: experience with mobile, IoT, or wireless connectivity, or exposure to semiconductor manufacturing.
