Graduate / Junior Software Engineer (C++)

£28,000 - £40,000 depending on experience

We have partnered again with one of our long-standing clients who are looking for a graduate. Due to the time of year the company is looking for someone who’s about to leave university or has  1-2 years’ experience in the industry. They would be looking for a highly skilled graduate who has focused their own personal and University projects on the C++ sector. They are looking for highly skilled individuals who are on track for a 2:1 or 1st. If this role is what you're looking for please highlight on your CV any personal projects, you have done in your own time.

The company is based in Cambridge and is a real powerhouse in its sector. They offices over the UK and Europe. They are leading the way in their field and are looking for driven and motivated graduates who are looking to further their career. This is the perfect opportunity for anyone looking to become a software developer. A candidate must be able to drive as there aren’t easy public transport links.

The candidate should meet the following requirements:

  • A good degree (2:1 or 1st) in a science or engineering subject
  • A keen interest in developing skills as a software engineer
  • Ability to work with complex systems combining digital electronics and software
  • The desire to work in a small, multi-disciplinary team

The candidate should ideally also have some of the following:

  • Experience with software development in C/C++
  • Experience with Visual Studio
  • Exposure to communications standards (Ethernet, USB, etc.)
