Critical to the company’s growth, is the addition of an experienced Data Scientist to work closely with their Head of MI. Our client has developed a product that is unique to the market and they are looking for the right individual to maximise the efficiency and value they are getting. Position: Data Scientist
Location: Central London
Package: £60K, 8% Pension, 10% Bonus
Purpose of the role:
To liaise with all stakeholders to provide MI, generating insights and visualisations from data. You will be able to visualise and communicate insights clearly to a wider audience and provide guidance and direction to the companies data analytics approach.
Responsibilities: Build forecasting models for internal and external clients, to provide Insight to customer’s online behaviour and purchasing choices. Implement data analytics tools for external user interfaces.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience in productionising machine learning algorithms
- Fluency in Python, R or Java
- Practical Knowledge in applying machine learning techniques
- Business Intelligence experience
- Experience in one or more BI tools - YellowFin, Qlickview, Tableau or Business objects
- Experience with effective data visualisation
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Educated to Degree level with proven experience in similar role.
- Insurance industry experience - Desired
