Job Description

Bilingual Support Engineer

SoCode is partnered with a world leading cyber security company in Cambridge with a interesting and exciting client list that is looking to provide an opportunity for a bilingual 1st line IT support candidate (preferable German but French also being considered). A great company to work for with a fantastic tenue record and rapidly growing with endless progression opportunities into 2nd and 3rd line support.

Responsibilities include  

  • Fluent German speaking (French speaking is also being considered)
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot and replicate enterprise customer issues and identify and research solutions to solve them
  • Provide best/technical guidance and practices to clients
  • Mainly office hours however should be willing to work night or rotational shifts
  • Be integral to the technical and review process of new product launches
  • Ensure recording of customer reported problems and maintenance
  • Effective communication and documentation of customer quires, questions issues and resolutions
  • Team player able to leverage entire GEC team and work cross-functionally
  • Conduct virtual meetings with clients
  • A strong engineer able to anticipate client needs

Desirable skills but training will be provided   

  • Good network troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of security tech and servers
  • Good knowledge of AAA servers
  • Good Knowledge of enterprise apps and enterprise and security
  • Virtualisation an hypervisors
  • Good knowledge of Cloud technologies including AWS, GCP and Azure
  • Knowledge of Linux/Unix
