Technical Architect – Java

£65,000 - £80,000 depending on experience



We are currently partnered with an exciting organisation in the Cambridge area who is currently looking for a Java Architect. The company is rapidly growing through acquisitions and opening up new organic offices around the world. Due to this rapid growth they are looking for a Java Architect who can really come in and work well in their team.


The role will entail developing their automated data validation product. The company mainly deals with Mathatical modelling and large data. A Strong candidate will have a strong Java background working with large data sources. The company is looking for a candidate who can help with the moving of large data and working with client’s complex data systems. This is a real classic architectural role but you would be working on a multitude of projects.


A successful candidate must have:

  • Skilled Java Developer (Java EE) (Application server and SOA Solutions)
  • Knowledge of software engineering methodologies and modelling approaches
  • Experience in data Modelling
  • Proven in designing and implementing enterprise solutions
  • You will have a background in requirement analysis and management



Desired Requirements:

  • Experience in manipulating complex data
  • Solid experience with Databases (Oracle, Postgres or Microsoft server)
  • Background in SaaS Solutions and Cloud development
  • NoSQL databases (Elasticsearch / MongoDB)
