SoCode is exclusively partnering with an innovative start up business that provides a cutting edge wireless Cyber Security solution. As Technical Account Manager you will be knowledgeable in the fields of Wireless, Cloud, Networking and Security technologies. Working closely with the Sales Director, you will assist with technical queries from a varied client base and actively promote further commercial opportunities for the business. Ideally you will have a background in military, police or security operations as well as a passion for technology.

Duties will include:

  • Devise, plan, deploy, and help improve wireless networks from the beginning to implementation by collaborating with vendors, managers, and network engineers
  • Understand client requirements to be able to cater to their appropriate needs
  • Handhold other in-house engineers to train them on our specific wireless technology, besides guiding other non-technical people
  • Use tools to evaluate to test and tweak wireless products, such as routers, switches, hubs, bridges, virtual private networks (VPNs), and network amplifiers, among others
  • Write manuals and document current network procedures. Each of customers will have different network topologies and we will need to document our installations
  • Have extensive knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP)
  • Make use of monitoring tools (WireShark)
  • Develop and implement policies and classify and oversee access to protect network systems
  • Collaborate with different teams to ensure the optimized performance of deployment of WiFiWall domes and other wireless telecommunication devices
  • Work with security team to evaluate threats, troubleshoot issues, and comply with appropriate security configuration standards of their organisations
