SoCode are proud to be working with a well-known Marketing Research company assisting a number of well-known household brands with their decision making through technology driven insights and data consultancy. Some of their biggest clients include Google, Facebook, Amazon, Microsoft, Lego, The Cabinet Office, Coca Cola, Formula 1 among others.

We are looking for a Software DevelopmentTeam Lead who is comfortable being hands-on in Full-stack development as well as managing a team – coaching, mentoring and assisting junior members being a key aspect of this. You will also receive the opportunity to assist in project management and interact directly with clients.

You will need the following:

• Experience in C# and .Net

• Experience in SQL Server is ideal – but exposure to PostgreSQL, MySQL or Oracle shows you can pick up SQL Server.

• You enjoy building and improving products, are comfortable with shifting priorities in your work environment.

• You need to be familiar with modern development practices, and capable of running meetings.

• Ability to use source control, implement a CD pipeline, work remotely, use a variety of different cloud services and SaaS providers would be beneficial.

Company tech stack includes:

.NET 5 (shortly upgrading to 6): C#, with ASP.NET Web API, React and TypeScript for our front-end; SQL Server for data storage; Microsoft’s Azure cloud platform for hosting and infrastructure; GitHub, Azure Dev Pipelines, and Octopus Deploy for continuous delivery

The role offers a salary of up £60,000 to £75,000 per annum plus a great benefits package which includes a 35-hour work week, unlimited holiday allowance as well as Hybrid working (once a week in the office).
