The products you will be working on are used for critical communication by emergency services and commercial companies across the world. The company has both R+D and manufacturing functions, owning factories around the world, which ensures the company produces the highest quality equipment in the market.

They are seeking an experienced Senior RF Engineer to join their talented R+D team in Cambridge. This is an exciting opportunity be part of a highly specialised, gifted RF design team, having a tangible impact on the final products, product roadmap and overall direction of the company. The company is dedicated to empowering staff by giving ownership of projects and processes to engineers, while maintaining a relaxed working environment.

Some of the things you’ll be involved in (not limited to)…

• Take technical ownership of elements of new projects, from inception through to production
• Get involved with every part of the R+D process, providing input and discussion to other areas of the business as needed
• Work within a highly skilled team of multi-disciplinary engineers
• Hardware design, debugging and testing of RF equipment, ensuring stable production for high volume manufacturing
• Working within a multi-disciplinary team of engineers to provide solutions to a range of communication-based projects

You will have the following skills and experience…

• Capable of quickly and efficiently understanding complex electronic designs from schematics and drawings
• 5 years expirience in RF design, including discrete PA design for RF products
• Solid understanding and expirience in the fundamentals electronic engineering, including good hands-on skills
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work on and deliver projects independently
• A good degree
