SENIOR ELECTRONICS ENGINEER

Job description

They’re offering an above market salary, tailored packages, and you get to work in the middle of the Cambridge tech hub.  This talented bunch specialise in the remote conditioning of bolted assets using their cutting-edge sensor technology, hardware, and fully integrated communication systems. They operate as an agile work environment, and as such, are looking to retain their start-up culture, although they have very recently become a commercial entity, and are financially stable.

 

Firstly, you’re going to be involved with every stage of product development, from concept to production release. This is a team role, and as such, you’ll be working alongside the software and mechanical leads working on the development of their sensor products, for safety and performance critical assets in the rail, oil and gas industries. Not only you, but everyone will be involved with jumping in, headfirst to get involved with the multi trillion-dollar Internet of Things market. 

 

This is an exciting time for these people, and as such you’ll be a part of genuine growth, helping the company realise it’s true potential, with current and sustained growth. It’s important these people find the right talent, and as such are willing to pay up to £60,000 (this is a guideline, and negotiable for the right individual), genuine flexible working and 15% shares within the company (after your first 3 months).

 

Technical Requirements

This is a technical role, and as such we need to rule out the nitty gritty stuff. Here are some essential pieces, which you’ll need to have;

  • PCB Layout and design
  • Altium
  • Condition Monitoring
  • Sensor design and sensor integration
  • Knowledge of communication protocols, both wired and wireless
  • Hands on experience with general lab equipment (soldering stations, power supplies, oscilloscopes, DMM, etc.)
  • Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent
