Quantitative Developer or Researcher – Competitive Salary – Cambridge

Are you a Quantitative Developer or Researcher, or a recent PhD graduate and have experience with Quantitative Algorithms? Would you like to be involved in a vast number of projects that will both challenge you and make your job exciting? Or would you like to be working on the future of instantaneous computing?

A highly respected client is currently seeking a Quantitative Algorithm Developer to join their consultancy firm and be a part of a number of technically challenging and extremely niche projects that will involve all disciplines of technology.

You will be responsible for conducting research on quantum algorithms and how they are applied to different challenges within the industry. You will work closely with clients, develop prototypes and demonstrate proof of concept for the challenges they face. Take responsibility for showcasing the company’s capability and gaining further recognition of the technological leadership they have within this sector.

The successful candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • Hold a minimum of a degree within a relevant field (Computer Science, Physics, Maths, Engineering or similar)
  • Have a clear passion for an aspect of quantum computation, such as quantum algorithms, quantum machine learning or similar
  • Be eager to learn new skills and to develop solutions for interesting and complex problems
  • Have experience in a commercial product environment and understanding of working with clients on projects
  • Be able to work well individually, amongst a team and have good communication skills
