Product Support Specialist

SoCode is partnered with a fabless semiconductor client that is looking for an immediately available 1st Line Customer Support Engineer due to an increase in registered client work.

Initially this would be a 6-month fixed term contract with a possibility of this becoming a permanent position afterwards, depending on performance. We anticipate the successful candidate will receive a salary of £25,000 to £30,000 dependant on experience.

You will be joining a team of 7 experienced Support Engineers working to support specialist bespoke software. This team is the company’s client facing consumer product specialist team, so communication skills are key.

You will need:

  • Exceptional customer service
  • Strong IT Support knowledge – Windows Server technologies (Active Directory Group Policies, Remote Desktop Services, IIS, Certificate Services etc).
  • Product Support experience
  • Experience diagnosing software problems and working with technical problems until resolution.

It would be desireable if you have experience working in a semi-conductor background, but is not essential.
