Principal Product Manager 

SoCode are you pleased to be working a world famous British organisation known for their premium speakers, head phones and home theatre. We are looking for an experienced and data-driven Lead Software Product Manager to work with, lead and mentor a world-class team of Software Product Managers. You’ll be part of a team developing cutting-edge digital audio products and digital customer experiences.

As the Principal Product Manager, you will be a key stakeholder within the broader Product Management function, working alongside Product Managers who are responsible for the physical attributes of products. You will be part of a larger Product Development team consisting of Software Engineers, User Experience Designers, Acoustic Engineers, Mechanical Engineers and more.

As the Principal Product Manager your responsibilities will include.

• Being responsible for developing and maintaining digital experience roadmap with input from your colleagues and direct reports.

• Lead the definition and reporting of key metrics and analytics for tracking the success of the product portfolio, both physical and digital

• Champion exploratory themes of work and trying out innovative ideas for driving customer engagement and retention with the wider software development team

• Splitting your time between delivering your own projects and themes of work, setting long term strategy, and helping their team of software product managers be successful and grow.

• Own the software product management process, seeking out opportunities for improvements in the way software requirements are defined and shared with other stakeholders (e.g., software developers and user experience designers)

• Plan and manage the software product management team’s workload.

• Work and own the relationship with key technology and commercial partner

You should meet the following requirements.

▪ BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree.

▪ Experience in software product management.

▪ Experience leading software product management teams.

▪ Highly experienced in developing features / services that drive customer engagement and retention

▪ Experience in Agile development methodologies.

▪ Proficient with software planning and delivery tools.

▪ Motivating, self-starting, able to work independently and set priorities.

▪ Must be able to anticipate problems, spot opportunities to improve, and take a proactive approach to responsibilities.

▪ Must have good communication skills, both verbal and written.

▪ Must maintain a high level of business ethics and professionalism.

▪ Must have good organizational skills

This is an exciting opportunity to work with some of the most recognisable products in the audio industry. As well as a competitive salary up to £85,000 you will be entitled to the following benefits.
