The Role

As a Principal Consultant you will combine both problem solving skills with project management and commercial awareness.

Working to solve problems, manage projects and support sales on a daily basis you will be an innovator and be the central figure in the project delivery team. Working closely with clients this is a hands-on project heavy but very creative role where you can own the solutions you are delivering.

Working within Electronics, you will be able to work across a varied range of industries and clients. This client works with the most future thinking companies so expect to get stuck into some cutting-edge tech!

As a Principal Consultant your responsibilities will include people management and mentoring junior team members in both line management and less formal settings

If you want to use your skills and experience in electronic engineering to make products that have real-world impact, then this consultancy will give you the exposure and tools to make this happen.

In terms of skills and experience, what do I need to get the job?

  • Extensive experience in being an expert in analogue and power electronics in a variety of spaces.
  • Well versed in applying modern simulation tools and techniques to the design process.
  • Heavy exposure to the full product lifecycle from concept generation through to product release.
  • A solid understanding of the regulatory landscape of the EU and US and a proven track record of designing for compliance with appropriate standards.
  • Top tier communication skills for both junior team members and senior stakeholders, internally and externally.
