We are working on behalf of a global software company with headquarters in Cambridge. They currently operate in over 50 countries and, due to a merger, have gone through a period of positive business change, transformation, and implementation of new processes and systems. To date

One of their biggest programmes is an Oracle Fusion implementation. Currently the business is quite reliant on an exceptional team of contractors. Over the long term the business is keen to ensure they have the necessary permanent resource to work on this project.

Therefore, they have asked us to help them find a Principal Oracle Fusion Consultant. This role will be a diverse and interesting mix of advisory (to senior management level) and training, as well as lending a hand to all things OF inside the business and building a small team.

Reporting into the transformation director, the successful candidate will also be given the responsibility of building a world class team to ensure business continuity, we expect this to be about three people.

This is an opportunity for someone at the right stage in their career to learn and be a key driver of change within a FTSE 100 business.

They have offices in Cambridge and London however this role, even post-pandemic, will be almost completely remote with occasional (quarterly) meetings on site after the current restrictions are lifted. We would still need this person to be domiciled in the UK.

the successful candidate will also have the following experience:

  • experienced training and line managing a small team of up to five staff
  • experience working with application managed service providers
  • specific oracle fusion module experience which must include:
    • Project contracts
    • enterprise contracts
    • revenue management
    • border management

This role may suit a former solutions architect or similar who has been hands off technically for a few years but has a good understanding of the underlying technology.

Excellent communication skills, and gravitas are essential for this role due to the level at which it will be operating.

Demonstrable experience in all of the above would be highly preferred.
