Job Title: NPI Engineer | New Product Introduction Engineer

Description:

We are currently working with a business to find an NPI Engineer who will help design and improve high complexity mechanical mechanisms for precision motion control and vibration isolation systems used in research, manufacturing, and biomedical applications.

As a senior member of the team, some of the things you will be working on will be:

• The development of new products with an understanding of the complete development cycle.
• Troubleshooting and finding root causes.
• Finding solutions for technical problems using your in depth knowledge of testing techniques for electromechanical products.

As a leading designer and manufacturer of photonics equipment they can offer a very competitive salary. The role has some flexibility in terms of remote working, but will be on a week by week basis based on workflow.

What's Needed?

• Experience in product development with proven record of released products.
• Ability to work well and lead a multidisciplinary project team to drive projects through to completion
• Experience of producing high quality manufacturing drawings containing full tolerance and detailed finishing specifications.
• Experience with precision component design to micron level tolerances.
