We are currently recruiting a Junior Test Developer for our rapidly growing client based in the Cambridge area.
As a well-known and desirable name within their market our client is looking for the best candidate to join their already thriving organisation.
Responsible to the Development Manager, the successful candidate will start their journey working within the Test team as a key part in helping to further develop their test frameworks.
After an estimated 18 months learning, understanding and progressing your test techniques you will transition into the development team to continue / expand on your coding. For this C++ or C# experience is required, knowledge of both would be a strong preference.
Starting within the test team and then progressing on to development, our client see’s Junior candidates progress well this way as you get a full understanding of the lifecycle from early in your career.
- A degree in computer science or equivalent.
- 1-3 years software development experience
- Knowledge of testing methods, especially TDD.
- Experience working in a Scrum environment.
- Motivated to learn and provide complete solutions for a dedicated customer base.
A salary of between £30,000 - £40,000 is on offer depending on experience, plus an attractive benefits package which includes: 9% pension, profit scheme, health & life insurance, up to 34 days holiday and free parking.
