Senior / Principal Mechanical Engineer

£40,000 to £55,000
We have partnered again with a long-standing client who are looking for a Senior Electro-mechanical Engineer. My client is looking to diversity their portfolio of products and bring some of their older products into the 21st Century. This company is a market leader within the telecoms space and has cemented their position over the last 10 years. You would be joining one of the friendliest Engineering teams in Cambridge. If I had the right skill set the manager is someone I would myself like to work for.
This is an exciting opportunity as it would be working on the company’s new product line. Your role will be pivotal in helping them bring these new products to market.
The candidate should meet the following requirements:
- HND, Degree, PHD in either Engineering or Electronics
- Strong Background in 3D CAD user (Creo/Pro Engineer)
- Experience in Radio or Mobile - Handset Design
- knowledge of thermal design for high density electronic packaging
- Experience of plastic injection moulding techniques and low-cost manufacturing
