SoCode has partnered with a global communication market leader who is looking for a contract Windows System Admin for a 14 week contract. This contract is inside of IR35 and is paying up to £40 per hour. You will need to use an Umbrella company if offered the role.

Essential:

• Minimum 4 years' experience in IT role
• Significant exposure to SCCM
• Strong Windows desktop and server support skills
• Administration and maintenance of System Centre Configuration Manager 
• Definition of Windows 10 standard builds including supporting technologies (Windows Deployment Services) and in-place operating system upgrade/OS lifecycle management
• Desktop and server patch management SCCM/WSUS
• Software packaging, distribution and reporting experience
• Deploying secure compute configuration using Group Policy
• Experience managing antivirus/endpoint security products
• Significant experience in technical administration roles covering Hardware and Softwre
• Strong technical problem-solving skills and experience
• Exposure to backup technologies

Desirable:

• Practical administration experience of Microsoft Exchange or Office 365
• Exposure to Mobile Device Management solutions
• Dell Server hardware and system management tools
• Exposure to virtualisation technologies
• Remote Desktop Services
• Understanding of industry trends and emerging threats
• Experience of scripting/automation languages
• Administration of desktop and mobile telephony solutions
• Exposure to CyberEssentials or ISO27001
