The Role

The company is looking for a well rounded Antenna Design Engineer to join their team in Cambridge. The ideal person will be a team player first and foremost, with experience in designing, building and testing antenna products and systems. There is an expectation that you will be able to explain complicated technical products to non-technical clients.

This is the perfect chance to utilise your technical skills in an environment where teamwork is paramount to success. Working together with the other engineers you will follow cutting edge ideas from concept through to production. Each day you will be supported by subject matter experts in the companies state of the art electronics lab, kitted out with the latest test and measurement equipment including anechoic chambers, spectrum and network analysis tools.

Essential Skills:

  • A degree in electronics engineering (with a preference for those with a masters too)
  • More than 3 years’ experience in RF Design with two of those years in the design of antennas.
  • Expert knowledge of antenna types and techniques (experience of mm-wave frequency design would be beneficial).
  • Radio/radar systems knowledge.
  • Antenna simulation software/broad simulation techniques experience.
