“I began my journey at SoCode in May 2026; when I moved back to Norwich from Swansea, where I completed a degree in International Relations, I was unsure what I wanted to do.

After getting a sense of recruitment from a friend, I began investigating further and discovered SoCode. The seed had been planted.

I was drawn to many aspects of recruitment but fundamentally, the dynamism of the role and having to "spin multiple plates at once" seemed to me like an exciting and rewarding career choice, one that rewards hard work and persistence."

​How do you like to spend your time outside of work?

"I am active, enjoy the outdoors and more recently have taken a liking to cooking... (which has taught me patience).

I have always tried to throw myself into new experiences! In my late teens, I volunteered in an orphanage in Kumasi, Ghana - an immensely eye-opening and formative experience. For my 18th birthday, I willingly to (and thankfully completing), a rigorous course emulating parts of Special Forces training... I have tried to diversify my experiences so far in life! Making full use of free will. Besides this, I represented Swansea University at Futsal - a little-known iteration of football - where I shared some really happy memories and victories with the squad."
