Karolina started her journey at SoCode in April 2026, where she joined as a Principal Recruitment Consultant in our United States team.

"I am a Principal Recruiter for SoCode US, specializing in Go-To-Market (GTM), Commercial and Marketing opportunities. I started with the business in April 2026.

I recruit the GTM, Commercial and Marketing roles here at SoCode. What I enjoy most about my market is how each of the specialisms has an impact on one another, as well as the fact I am a pivotal part of company growth through these hires - be that through business development, demand generation, content or communications to name a few.

My background is over a decade working in the UK market, specialising within Commercial and Marketing hires for the majority of this, as well as exposure into Human Resources, Engineering and Supply Chain. What lead me to SoCode has been the opportunity which was presented to me. SoCode has grown so much as a business, and I have been privy to this growth from the outside, due to my past working relationship with Richard. It was time for me to join the business and become part of the growth and success, personally."

What advice would you give someone looking to get into recruitment?

"I would always advise for new starters in recruitment to listen. I know that may sound like a simple bit of advice; however, I assure you that it’s very valuable. You will meet very successful recruiters in your career, and each of those will have their own style, their own methods and ways of working that makes them successful. Picking up on these and creating your own style is vital, and it cannot be done without listening."

What inspires you?

"I am inspired by people who “lead by example”. Leading by example not only in a way of talking about being successful or how things can be done, but actually demonstrating this in day-to-day life. This can be both in personal and professional life."
